Stand with the Caribbean islands experiencing devastation from recent hurricanes. Hear readings from five DC-area Caribbean authors:

  • Katia Ulysse, author of Drifting

  • Tiphanie Yanique, author of Land of Love and Drowning and How to Escape From a Leper Colony

At the event, donations will be taken for Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA), a regional inter-governmental agency for disaster management in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
