Justina Ireland enjoys dark chocolate, dark humor, and is not too proud to admit that she’s still afraid of the dark. She lives with her husband, kid, and dog in Pennsylvania. She is the author of Vengeance Bound and Promise of Shadows, and, most recently, Dread Nation.
Tiffany D. Jackson is the author of the NAACP Image Award-nominated, critically acclaimed debut Allegedly and the forthcoming Monday's Not Coming. (May 22nd, 2018 HarperCollins/Katherine Tegen Books). A TV professional by day, novelist by night, awkward black girl 24/7. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Film from Howard University and her Master of Arts in Media Studies from The New School University. A Brooklyn native, she is a lover of naps, cookie dough, and beaches, currently residing in the borough she loves with her adorable chihuahua Oscar, most likely multitasking.
Anica Mrose Rissi grew up on an island off the coast of Maine, where she read a lot of books and loved a lot of pets. She now tells and collects stories, makes up songs on her violin, and eats lots of cheese with her friends in Princeton, New Jersey, where she lives with her husband, Jeff. As a former book editor turned full-time writer and storyteller, Anica has spoken with kids and adults across the country about all stages of the writing process, from ideas and drafting to revisions and beyond. She tweets about bookish things and her dog, Arugula, at @anicarissi, which is also her handle on Instagram.
Robyn Schneider is the bestselling author of The Beginning of Everything and Extraordinary Means, which have earned numerous starred reviews, appear on many state reading lists, and are published in over a dozen countries. Her next book, Invisible Ghosts, comes out in June from Katherine Tegen Books/HarperCollins. Robyn is a graduate of Columbia University, where she studied creative writing, and the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, where she earned a Masters of Bioethics. She lives in Los Angeles, California, but also on the internet.
Joelle Charbonneau has performed in opera and musical theater productions across Chicagoland. She teaches private voice lessons and is the author of the New York Times best-selling The Testing trilogy (The Testing, Independent Study, and Graduation Day) as well as two mystery series: The Rebecca Robbins mysteries and the Glee Club mysteries. Her books have appeared on the Indie Next List, the YALSA Top 10 books for 2014 as well as the YALSA Quick Picks for reluctant readers.
