East City Bookshop welcomes romance authors Andie J. Christopher, Tracey Livesay, Tif Marcelo, and Mia Sosa for a night of romance celebrating the launch of Sosa's new novel The Worst Best Man, moderated by historical fiction writer Denny S. Bryce.
Denny S. Bryce writes historical fiction. Her debut novel, Wild Women and the Blues, will be on sale on December 29, 2020, from Kensington Books. An RWA Golden Heart® winner, Denny also writes book reviews for NPR Books and entertainment articles for FROLIC Media. A marketing and public relations professional for more than 25 years, she also spent 10 of those years writing and reading Buffy/Spike fan fiction. Currently, she is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association (WFWA), Historical Novel Society (HSN), and Romance Writers of America (RWA). She is represented by Nalini Akolekar/Spencerhill Associates and resides in Virginia.
USA Today bestselling author Andie J. Christopher writes edgy, funny, sexy contemporary romance featuring heat, humor, and dirty talking heroes that make readers sweat. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Stanford Law School, she grew up in a family of voracious readers, and picked up her first romance novel at age twelve when she’d finished reading everything else in her grandmother’s house. It was love at first read. It wasn’t too long before she started writing her own stories—her first heroine drank Campari and drove an Alfa Romeo up a winding road to a minor royal’s estate in Spain. Andie lives in the Nation’s Capital with her French Bulldog, Archie, a stockpile of Campari, and way too many books.
A former criminal defense attorney, Tracey Livesay finds crafting believable happily ever afters slightly more challenging than protecting our constitutional rights, but she's never regretted following her heart instead of her law degree. She has been featured in Entertainment Weekly, the Washington Post, and CBS This Morning. Tracey lives in Virginia with her husband-who she met on the very first day of law school--and their three children.
Tif Marcelo is a veteran army nurse and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Public Administration. She believes and writes about the strength of families, the endurance of friendship, heartfelt romances, and is inspired daily by her own military hero husband and four children. She is also the author of The Key to Happily Ever After and the Journey to the Heart series.
Mia Sosa writes funny, flirty, and moderately steamy contemporary romances that celebrate our multicultural world. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Yale Law School, Mia practiced First Amendment and media law in the nation’s capital for ten years before trading her suits for loungewear (read: sweatpants). Born and raised in East Harlem, New York, she now lives in Maryland with her college sweetheart, their two bookaholic daughters, and one dog that rules them all.
