Hosted by ECB staff, the Social Justice Book Club is a space for thoughtful conversation on issues of social justice and activism. Themes will include racial justice, immigration, LGBTQ rights, and more--we’re also open to members suggesting specific titles and topics to explore.
October's selection is White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism by Robin DiAngelo.
This book club is open to anyone who wants to join the discussion. Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy and share during the meeting. Sign up here to be notified of upcoming meetings for this book club. Learn more about all of East City Bookshop’s book clubs here.
