The Well-Read Black Girl club was founded in 2015 by renowned writer Glory Edim as a means of celebrating and supporting women writers and readers of color. East City Bookshop has joined bookstores across the nation in this effort. We are deeply committed to having diverse voices represented at East City Bookshop, and this is a wonderful opportunity to do so!
November's selection is Red at the Bone: A Novel by Jacqueline Woodson.
This book club is open to anyone who wants to join the discussion. Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy and share during the meeting. Sign up here to be notified of upcoming meetings for this book club. Learn more about all of East City Bookshop’s book clubs here.
