Well-Read Black Girl is an affinity space for Black women readers & writers. Our monthly book club selections focus on empowering the narratives of Black women, we encourage readers who identify as genderqueer, non-binary, or others who feel inspired by what we’re doing to join us and be a part of our community. December's selection is Royal Holiday by Jasmine Guillory.

About the Host
Destinee is an avid reader who works at a school by day and hosts book clubs in her spare time. Having joined the East City Bookshop team in September 2016, she's become an omnivorous reader who hopes to share her love of books with anyone who'll listen!
