Well-Read Black Girl is an affinity space for Black women readers & writers. Our monthly book club selections focus on empowering the narratives of Black women, we encourage readers who identify as genderqueer, non-binary, or others who feel inspired by what we’re doing to join us and be a part of our community. East City Bookshop has joined bookstores across the nation in this effort. We are deeply committed to having diverse voices represented at East City Bookshop, and this is a wonderful opportunity to do so!
November's selection is Ties that Tether by Jane Igharo.
This book club is open to anyone who wants to join the discussion. If you'd like to participate please email Destinee at firstname.lastname@example.org. Sign up here to be notified of upcoming meetings for this book club. Learn more about all of East City Bookshop’s book clubs here.
