School Book Fairs

You can host a Book Fair at East City Bookshop to raise money for your school!  Schools receive 20% of sales made during the fair. In addition, students and parents may buy books to donate to their classrooms and libraries. 

  • Our staff will work with directors and teachers to compile a “wish-list” or baskets of books at different price points that customers and parents may buy to donate to classrooms.

  • You may bring promotional materials about your school to display at your table.

  • All you need to do is promote your fair to your school community and show up with a few volunteers--we’ll set up your space and have it all ready for you.

  • It's a great way to gather your school community for a good cause and support a local, Hill-owned business!

Our school Book Fairs have raised an average of $500 in cash for schools, and customers also purchase 50-75 books on average to donate to teachers and classrooms--all in just a few hours with two volunteers and no overhead!
