This book club provides a space for thoughtful conversation on issues of social justice and activism. Themes will include racial justice, immigration, LGBTQ rights, and more--we’re also open to members suggesting specific titles and topics to explore.

Destinee is an avid reader who works at a school by day and hosts book clubs in her spare time. Having joined the East City Bookshop team in September 2016, she's become an omnivorous reader who hopes to share her love of books with anyone who'll listen!
